Ms Cluck Cluck
Many years ago my mother purchased Ms Cluck Cluck as ceramic greenware, she painted her and had her fired. When Mom passed I inherited Ms Cluck Cluck. Not caring for the colors I selected bright fun colors adding whimsy.When I'm complete with Ms Cluck Cluck her new address will be at youngest daughter's.

"A Metaphor... I don't fit - I'm different"
Many times in life we find ourselves feeling like we don't fit. It's real easy to miss the beauty (& blessings) around us much less have an appreciation for our self.
With a change of thought to "Although I believe I am different I am unique. I can share my uniqueness with many, together we compliment each other" -- changes everything.
Just sharing ...
My love for whimsical painting kicked in...
I found a discarded painting for $5 and re-painted it - Voila! "A Metaphor... I don't fit - I'm different".

Mother's Love is an artistic painted plaster cast of Melissa (my youngest daughter) in her ninth month.
She asked me to paint it as she would be using it in place of a guest book. After Berkeley's birth she added all of the stats on the clouds ...
This will go on the wall as with one I painted for her first son - Benson... his looked like a monkey. So fun!!

Hand painted, the pillow fabric is preshrunk canvas, 18 x 18 and having an envelope back where the pillow is removable for the case to be laundered. Playful expression of my garden ...
In my gardens, the lilies command attention. I absolutely love lilies. This gregarious lily is a reminder of how fun it is to play and enjoy life. Applied to my 36 “x 36” coffee table endowed with rich colors it’s the focus of my living room.

A Happy Day for Honey Bee ...
Basking in the sun and enjoying the fruits of his labor... Honey Bee has written reminders of being a Happy Honey Bee! (Look closer at the lower portion of the stool.) Honey Bee gives us something to smile about... Don't you agree?
This whimsical painted bar stool has been painted with acrylics and several coats of polyurethane added for water proofing, making this easy to care for. While it is functional I recommend it to be treated as art.

Whimsical Art ... An expression of love from Grama SweetHeart for Miss Chan
I toted this toy chest home several years ago to paint for Miss Chan. After several attempts to 'get it right'... years had passed. This toy chest transformed into a storage chest ... miraculously inspiration had me creating this symbol of love. I'm hoping it will be a reminder for Miss Chan to know how much she is loved and perhaps someday, it will become a legacy.
